The clinic is closed for appointments on Saturday and Sunday.

Please call 691-4000 and discuss your cat's needs with a customer care
representative.
3. What forms of payment do you accept?

5. At what age can I have my cat spayed or neutered?
+Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 4-5 months of age.
+Your cat is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether he/she is
healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure.
+Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery.
+Also, a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing
anesthesia and surgery.
+Please call 691-4000 to schedule.
6. What is the pre-anesthetic blood screening?
This is a blood test that is run prior to surgery. It tests the organ functions,
blood counts and clotting function of your cat. The pre-anesthetic blood screening
is done to assure safety during surgery and the ability to heal following surgery.
This is often done the day before surgery.
7. How long do the sutures stay in after my cat's surgery?
Procedures involving sutures require them to be removed in 14 days following the
surgery.
8. Is it a good idea to let my cat have at least one litter?
No, there is no advantage to letting your cat have one litter. However, there are
plenty of advantages to having your cat spayed or neutered. These advantages
include decreasing the chances of breast tumors later in life, decreasing the
chance of cystic ovaries and uterine infections later in life, decreasing the desire
to roam the neighborhood, decreasing the incidence of prostate cancer later in life,
helping prevent spraying and marking, and also decreases the surplus of unwanted
kittens.
9. Do you board cats?
Yes, we have boarding space for cats in our luxury condos. They will have access
to a play area for exercise while you are away. If we have not seen your cat, we
require an exam so that we can get to know your cat and any health issues. All
vaccinations must be current. Call 691-4000 for more information.
10. What are your Condos like?
Our Condos have areas for the cat to move around and are large enough that up
to 3 cats from the same house can share the condo. They also get access to a large
play area to stretch and relax. Owners who have cats on special diets should
bring the diet with the cat. Feel free to stop by the hospital for a tour and
discuss boarding in more detail with our staff.
