Just For Cats Veterinary Hospital
We think we have accomplished these goals at Just For Cats Veterinary hospital. Just For Cats Veterinary Hospital was recognized as an AAHA accredited hospital and has received countless recognitions and innumerous private moments of success from you our clients about your cats. We know we are doing a great job when we read the cards many of you have sent us. We have the absolute best group of smart and caring employees anyone could ask for who give 110% over and over again. Just For Cats gives to the community in many ways including and not limited to helping with rescue organizations, teaching at schools and colleges and educating you, our clients. Building Just For Cats Veterinary Hospital has been like being on a roller coaster with lots of struggles and successes. Even with knowing we gave it all to succeed, we are still faced with difficult decisions. One of those difficult decisions was what could be done as we lost the lease on the building after months of trying to renegotiate. We approached the option to purchase and in today's economy this was met with less than positive response from the financial institutions. We explored the possibility of doing a specialty feline practice in another practice and due to circumstances beyond our control, this option could not come to fruition. We are saddened to say that Just For Cats Veterinary Hospital will be closing and discontinuing business as of July 28, 2010. Our doors will close after the final piece of equipment is picked up around the 30th. We appreciate your patronage and pray for your understanding during this difficult time. We still hope to be able to offer services for cats in a stress reduced environment and understand that many of you may need services before we can reorganize and relocate. We are working at having the records available at a convenient location and until then please email info@justforcatsvet.com. Please refer to our website www.justforcatsvet.com for updates as they become available.
We believe that all things happen for a purpose and we embrace the future whatever it may bring. We hope that you would consider selecting a hospital that is feline friendly, with an American Association of Feline Practitioners veterinarian that has a special interest in serving the cat's needs as you explore a new hospital. These member doctors have information available to them to better cats' lives.
We cannot express how much we will miss you all and how much you have taught us. Many of you have shared your deepest secrets and greatest fears with us, your happiest moments and your treasured cats with us for care. We know that we have touched many of your lives and you have each gifted us with many memories. We are eternally grateful for all you have given us, and we will never forget all the kindness you have shared with us.
To honor the past and celebrate the present, please consider joining us for a celebration of the cat on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 6:30 pm in the hospital.
Kari Mundschenk DVM Just a thought.... Just a Cat From time to time, people tell me,"lighten up it's Just a cat", or "that's a lot of money for Just a cat". They don't understand the distance traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for "Just a cat". Many hours have passed and my only company was "Just a cat", but I did not feel slighted. Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by "Just a cat". In those days of darkness, the gentle touch of "Just a cat" gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day. If you, too, think it's "Just a cat", then you will probably understand phrases like "just a friend", "just a sunrise", or "just a promise". "Just a cat" brings out the compassion and patience and makes me a better person. Because of "Just a cat", I will rise early, take long walks, and look longingly to the future. So for me and folks like me, it's not "Just a cat", but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment. "Just a cat" brings out what's good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day. I hope that someday they can understand that it's not "Just a cat", but the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being "just a human". So the next time you hear the phrase "Just a cat", or "Just a dog", just smile because they "JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND".
